A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR
My name is Benito Garcia and I have been into SFX Makeup for about 35 years. Whether it's stealing my mother's Avon make up from her sample bag at age 12 to make up my friends or creating zombies for a TV commercial for a new phone app, who are dragging along after some human lunch. I've followed all the greats and read everything I could get my hands on that had to do with SFX Makeup. What I discovered was that there really isn't anything out there just for us that deals with real injuries and all the different skin conditions we sometimes need to reproduce. Well now there is, and it's just ours. No more searching on line for images and trolling through completely unrelated results. Plus medical books are very expensive and hard to get your hands on. I wanted something easy to refer to and tuck away in your studio or even your makeup kit. We've all been asked to create something on the spot we weren't expecting. I've been lucky enough to work with some really great people on countless films, TV and even some great photoshoots and I really wish I would have had this book on hand countless times. I always say, go show the world what you can do. This guide will be invaluable to doing just that.

|If you have ever been dissapointed to see that your postal carrier has crammed your Media Mail delivered magazine into your mailbox while folding, bending and even spindling it, you'll be happy to know we offer a more protective and quicker than Media Mail option.|
|We can fit up to 3 issues of Prosthetic Magazine or one or two books depending on their thickness into a USPS Large Priority Mail Envelope. We seal each issue or book in cellophane shrinkwrap. The magazines or books are wrapped in a cardboard sleeve and then inserted into a Large Priority Mail Envelope. The cardboard sleeve offers some added protection to the shipment over just shipping the magazines or books in a large envelope but it prevents the inclusion of a 4th issue of the magazine so if you are ordering 4 or more issues you will need to select another shipping option such as the Priority Mail option. The Large Envelope shipping option will only show up at checkout if your order is under 3-lbs which is equivalent to about 3 magazines or 1 thick makeup manual or book.|
