These makeup products are perfect for the Star Trek Klingon cosplayer. Includes water based Prosthetic Adhesive, Prosthetic Cream Adhesive, Adhesive Remover, 6-colors Rubber Mask Grease Makeup palette for Foam Latex Prosthetics, Brown Tooth Wax, Setting Powder with Puff, Application Sponges, Spatula, Brush and a FREE foam latex prosthetic Klingon Forehead appliance.
The FREE foam latex prosthetic you will receive may require patching of some small air holes or other anomalies in the surface of the appliance. The Dental Spatula and Prosthetic Cream Adhesive in this kit can be used to fill holes, repair tears, and help blend the edge of the appliance into the skin. After the Prosthetic Cream Adhesive dries it will become translucent and you can then powder the patched area with baby powder or Setting Powder and Puff. After it is powdered you can hold it up at an angle to a light and see if the patched area is filled in sufficiently or if you need to add a little more Prosthetic Cream Adhesive to the filled hole. Let it dry, powder and repeat if needed.

Sealing Foam Latex Appliances for Sensitive Skin
WHAT ARE ALL THE ITEMS IN THIS KIT USED FOR?
Prosthetic Cream Adhesive – Pros-Aide Cream 0.5-oz
To repair any surface air holes or anomalies you can scoop a little Pros-Aide Cream onto the tip of the Dental Spatula and then using the spatula put the Pros-Aide Cream into the hole on the surface of the foam latex appliance. Blend the Pros-Aide Cream to the same level as the surface of the foam latex appliance and allow to dry. Powder when dry and hold the patched area at an angel up to a light to see if it is level or needs more Pros-Aide Cream added. Repeat as necessary.
Use can also use the Pros-Aide Cream and Spatula to blend any edges of the appliance into the skin. This is more useful on subsequent wearings of the foam latex appliance as the edges build up with adhesive or get damaged by a hasty removal.
Prosthetic Adhesive - Pros-Aide "The Original" Adhesive 1.0-oz
The Prosthetic Adhesive can be used to seal the foam latex appliance so the makeup goes on smoothly and is not absorbed into the foam latex.Use a Foam Makeup Application Wedge to stipple the Prosthetic Adhesive onto the surface of the foam latex appliance and allow to dry, then powder lightly. It is recommended that you do not stipple the Prosthetic Adhesive onto the edges of the foam latex appliance at this time. Keeping the edges clear of adhesive and makeup until after you have attached the foam latex appliance to your own forehead will allow you to blend the edges into the skin more easily with less chance of the edges turning under and sticking together.
To adhere a foam latex prosthetic you can use a makeup wedge to stipple prosthetic adhesive onto the underside (the side that touches your skin) of the foam latex prosthetic and allow it to dry. Only stipple where the underside will touch your skin except for the edges. Stay about 1/4-inch away from the edges you will be blending into the skin. There is no need to put adhesive where the inside of the foam latex appliance will go over your hair.
Next stipple the prosthetic adhesive onto the skin on your forehead where the foam latex appliance will cover. Allow the prosthetic adhesive to dry on your skin. When dry the prosthetic adhesive changes from a milky white color to having a clear shiny transparent look to it but it will still be very tacky. After the prosthetic adhesive dries you can carefully position the foam latex appliance onto your forehead and press firmly. Having dry adhesive on the inside of the appliance and dry adhesive on the skin of the forehead will make the application act like contact cement. Be sure you are lined up straight before putting the appliance on the forehead because once pressed together it is not easy to reposition the appliance without using the adhesive remover.
Once the appliance is firmly in place you can lift the edges up a little bit and put a thin amount of prosthetic adhesive under the edge and lay the edge down onto the skin. Because the edges are so thin air can pass through them and the adhesive will dry after the edge is laid down into the wet adhesive. Allow the edges to dry completely and then you can stipple a little prosthetic adhesive over the edge and onto the skin. If an edge is thicker due to the appliance having been worn multiple times you can scoop some of the thicker prosthetic cream adhesive onto the edge and blend it out smooth with the dental spatula. Allow is to dry and powder the edges and look at the edges at an angle with a light to see if everything is smooth and level or needs more cream adhesive added.
The use of a hair dryer on a low setting will help dry the prosthetic adhesive and prosthetic cream adhesive faster than air drying.
Prosthetic Adhesive Remover - Pros-Aide Remover 2.0-oz
When you are ready to take off the foam latex appliance you can dampen a cotton ball or cotton swab with Prosthetic Adhesive remover and loosen the adhesive holding the appliance in place. For a forehead appliance we remove the wig and fold the top half of the foam latex appliance forward and swipe the damp cotton ball back and forth across the adhesive until it loosens and you are able to pull the forehead a little more forward to give you access to more of the adhered area. Keep adding remover to your cotton ball as needed and keep swiping the cotton ball back and forth over the adhesive as you slowly pull the forehead forward. It may help to hold a paper towel or something over your eyes to protect your eyes and help absorb the remover in case you use too much on the cotton ball and it drips down towards the eyes. After the appliance is removed you can use more remover on a fresh cotton ball to clean any adhesive residue off of your skin.
Setting Powder with Powder Puff
Use the powder when repairing holes to help see the patched area better. Use the powder to set the makeup by pressing a little powder into the makeup with the powder puff. Use the powder to eliminate the tackiness of any adhesive residue on the foam latex appliance after you remove it and let it dry completely before powdering it and putting it away for your next use.

Rubber Mask Grease Makeup - Graftobian RMG Derma Wheel
Regular theatrical cream makeup is made with mineral oil that will break down latex appliances. The included RMG makeup is made with castor oil which will not harm the foam latex appliance. Using regular makeup on foam latex will cause the mineral oil to be absorbed into the foam and leave the makeup job looking chalky. RMG makeup leaves the foam appliance looking more lifelike. Select an RMG color from the makeup palette and use a makeup wedge to stipple the makeup onto the foam latex appliance as your foundation color. Select a lighter color than the foundation and put a little of it on the high parts of the ridges to make highlights. Select a darker color than the foundation and put it in the low parts of the ridges to make shadows. Use the brush to draw in any fine detail or blend the shades of makeup together so the colors look more natural. Set your makeup with the powder which is included or a fixing spray (sold separately).
Dental Spatula
Use the Spatula and Pros-Aide Cream to fill holes, repair tears and blend any edges of the appliance into the skin.
You can also use the spatula to mix two or more shades of makeup together to get your own custom colors. Scoop a little of each color onto a stainless steel mixing palette or ceramic plate and use the blade of the spatula to flatten and fold the makeup into itself to blend the colors together.
Professional Makeup Brush
Use this professional makeup brush to add details or blend makeup colors together on the skin or appliance.
Makeup Application Wedges
Use the wedges to apply Prosthetic Adhesive and Makeup. Tearing the tip off of a wedge and using the rough torn edge to stipple the Prosthetic Adhesive over the prosthetic’s edges will leave less straight lines in the dry adhesive. Using the torn makeup wedge will leave a more natural looking edge.
Crepe Wool Hair
Unbraid and use the crepe wool hair to make eyebrows, mustaches, and beards. You can straighten the braided hair easily by steaming it over a kettle spout and allow it to dry on paper towels or use the steam from a clothes iron with the strands of hair sandwiched between two paper towels while ironing, stretch the strands while they are still warm and let dry. You can also soak the unbraided fiber in water and stretch it out between two towels and blot it dry then let it air dry completely before using it, if the quicker steaming method is unavailable. Adhere the crepe wool to the foam appliance or skin with a little Prosthetic Adhesive or for better results a Matte Spirit Gum (sold separately).
Brown Tooth Wax
You can dirty up your teeth with a little brown tooth wax to give you that Klingon look. Scrape the tooth wax across your teeth and get some of it between the teeth to give you that grungy poor dental hygiene look.
Makeup Remover Cream
Use the Makeup Remover Cream to remove the RMG Makeup from your skin. Liberally apply the cream to the surface of the makeup and then wipe the makeup away with a paper towel or cloth.
